In August, ten scouts from Weald will be joining with almost 5000 other Scouts and Guides at this years Kent International Jamboree (KIJ) which is taking at Kent County Showground, near Maidstone, between Saturday 2nd August and Saturday 9th August.
Weald Scouts will be camping alongside Scouts from Ide Hill and Westerham and we are co-camping with Explorers who will be joining us from Spain.
Throughout the week, our Scouts will be supported by our Volunteer Leads from Squirrel, Beaver, Cub and Scout sections and they look set to having the opportunity to enjoy a long list of exciting activities, which will include:
- Archery
- Tomahawk Throwing
- Car Driving Experience
- Quad Biking
- Climbing Abseiling
- Rifle Shooting
- Mountain Biking
- And More!
