Regular Volunteering Roles

  • As a child we’re you a Scout or a Guide, do you have some amazing memories from your childhood?
  • Is Scouting completely new to you? No problem, you’re never too old to start volunteering.
  • Are you available for a couple of hours each week, or every other week?
  • Training and peer support available in all roles.

Section Lead Opportunities are available in all sections.

Trustee Roles

The role of a Trustee

  • The Trustee Board is a team of volunteers who work together, as charity trustees, to make sure Scouts is run safely and legally.
  • Attendance to Trustee meetings take place in the evening, making it an excellent opportunity to get involved if you work and arrive home later in the evening.
  • Meetings take place approximately once per time, plus an AGM and an additional meeting just before the Torchlight Procession & Fireworks Display (so, approximately five meetings per year).
  • Training and peer support available in all roles.
